Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux Release Long-Shelved Album ‘PROLIFIC’
A collaborative album recorded by Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux nearly a decade ago has finally been released, bringing a full body of previously unreleased work from the late Los Angeles rapper to streaming platforms.
PROLIFIC arrived on August 14, 2026, one day before what would have been Hussle’s 41st birthday. The 15-track project was released through All Money In and Out The Blue Records under exclusive licence to Atlantic Records.
Unlike many posthumous albums assembled after an artist’s death, PROLIFIC was largely created while Hussle was alive.
The Los Angeles Times reported this week that Hussle and Rideaux recorded and sequenced the project around 2017, with Hussle even selecting the album’s cover image before his death in 2019.
That makes the release significant within Hussle’s catalogue. Apple Music describes PROLIFIC as his first posthumous album, while Rideaux had previously worked closely with Hussle as both a collaborator and protégé. The pair released the joint mixtape No Pressure in 2017.
The new album includes appearances from Cardi B, Ty Dolla $ign, Leon Thomas, Buddy, James Fauntleroy and Static Major.
Its most prominent release-day collaboration is “I Just Wanna Know,” featuring Cardi B and Ty Dolla $ign. An official music video for the track was released through Nipsey Hussle’s verified YouTube channel as part of the album campaign.
Other tracks include “Reckless,” “Sacrifices,” “500 Horses,” “All Summer,” “Vibe With Me” and “Bacc of the Bach.”
