Becky G Releases Fifth Album ‘Baraja Bendita’
Mexican-American singer Becky G has released her fifth studio album, Baraja Bendita, today, August 14, marking a return to the pop, hip-hop and urban sounds that helped shape the early years of her career.
The 17-track album, released through RCA Records, moves between English and Spanish and follows her 2024 project Encuentros, which leaned heavily into regional Mexican music.
Baraja Bendita includes previously released tracks “Marathon,” “EPA” and “Patrona.” The project uses the idea of a deck of cards as a wider theme around choices, identity and taking greater control of one's direction.
The release also represents a new stage in Becky G's recording career. It is her first full-length project since moving on from Kemosabe Records, while RCA remains the label behind the album.
Becky G has described the project as bringing together the public identity audiences know as Becky G and her personal identity, Rebbeca, rather than treating them as separate sides of herself. That theme has been central to the album's social-media campaign in the weeks leading into release.
